Made by Dr. Loosen from a Mosel Riesling base wine that was already low in alcohol, picked with natural residual sweetness and fermented only part-way before the alcohol is removed by vacuum distillation. No sugar or sweeteners are added back in afterward. The result keeps its Riesling character intact — somewhere between fruity and dry — with green apple, peach and citrus notes.
