100% NZ malts. Pilsner base with Dark Crystal to bring that rich body to it, and a little light touch of roast barley for colour and a little touch of chocolatey bitterness. It’s the malts, not the hops, that are the superstar here - but there is a little bit of NZ-grown Motueka in the background here just to bring a little bit of balance to this beer and just to balance out those sweet juice crystal malt calendars. The aroma is rich, malty, coffee notes. Juicy sweet malt, a little bit of that roast bitterness, coffee, dark chocolate.
