An accredited Mental Health First Aid course from Hey Mate, designed to help you feel more confident supporting someone’s mental health and wellbeing. You’ll learn to recognise common mental health challenges, offer first support using the Mental Health First Aid Action Plan, respond calmly in a crisis and help someone reach professional support. It’s suitable for people in the creative industries and the wider community, including anyone who supports friends, family, colleagues or clients, and health professionals working with adults.

The online format covers the same content as the standard two-day face-to-face course. It has six hours of self-paced eLearning and two live Zoom workshops on 26 and 27 October, 10 AM to 12:30 PM Brisbane time. Your ticket includes a Mental Health First Aid manual posted to you and a Certificate of Accreditation, valid for three years once all parts are completed.
