A free, practical workshop for Queensland’s creative community, set in the iconic Tanks Arts Centre in the Cairns Botanic Gardens. Together we’ll explore wellbeing, alcohol and other drug (AOD) literacy, and ways to build healthier, more connected creative communities. Open to artists, creatives, facilitators, community workers, and anyone across Far North Queensland’s creative and community sectors, First Nations and CALD community members especially welcome, no prior knowledge needed. You’ll leave with practical wellbeing strategies, more confidence talking about alcohol and other drugs, a better understanding of support options, and new connections within the creative community. Morning tea provided.
